Hi, I'm Jessica!
I’ve worked with dogs since 2011 — as a pet sitter, a shelter volunteer, foster parent, veterinary assistant, and trainer. I studied Animal Science and Pre-Veterinary Medicine at *The* OSU and gained hands-on experience working in shelters, clinics, and with a wide variety of animals. Currently, I share my home with my own dog and two very opinionated cats.

My passion for training really grew through fostering. Some of the dogs I brought into my home struggled with significant fear and reactivity, and helping them learn new skills — and eventually find the right homes — showed me how life-changing the right training approach can be.
Now at Better Bond Dog Training, my goal is simple: helping owners build clearer communication, more structure, and ultimately a better bond with the dog they share their life with.
Training Philosophy
At Better Bond Dog Training, my approach focuses on clear communication, and helping dogs understand expectations and accountability. I acknowledge that every dog is different, therefore, I believe that a balanced training approach that is fair and individualized will best support each dog’s learning and long-term success.
My priority is always helping dogs and owners build reliable skills and a calm, confident relationship they can carry into everyday life.
