The Steady Start
Calm Structure for Young Dogs Who Mean Well… But Feel Like a Lot
The Steady Start is is a 2-week collaborative day train program (9am-4pm) for adolescent dogs who need more steadiness, clarity, and confidence — not chaos.
This program is designed to reset the rhythm between you and your dog.
Over two structured weeks, we'll work on foundational skills, build nervous system regulation, and create clarity your dog can rely on — while coaching you to maintain it at home.

Fair, Fun, Practical
Who Is This For?
The Steady Start is designed for:

• 6–18 month old dogs
• Owners who feel overwhelmed but are ready to participate
• Owners who want to build foundations that lead to more freedom and fun with their dog
• Families who want a calmer household — not just better commands
• Dogs who are sensitive, excitable, or inconsistent

If you’re looking for a quick fix without involvement, this won’t be the right fit.
If you’re ready to build something steady?
You’re in the right place.
What Makes This Different
This isn’t a drop-off-and-disappear program.
Your dog trains with me during structured day sessions, play + down time, then goes home each evening so we can create real-life rhythm in your actual environment. And yes, you get (some) homework too.

The goal isn't purely obedience
It's about building sustainable habits in your home.
How It Works
Your dog attends structured day training 3 days per week for 2 weeks (6 total training days + 1 owner coaching session).
Each training day includes:
• Calm leash work and guidance
• Place training with increasing duration
• Basic obedience with increased distractions
• Crate calmness and settling skills
• Confidence-building exposure
• Impulse control exercises
• Play and rest time
Dogs return home each evening so skills transfer into real life — not just a training environment.
What We're Building
By the end of the program, most dogs demonstrate:
• Improved loose leash walking
• Reliable place command with duration
• Calmer door and threshold manners
• Clearer impulse control
• Stronger ability to settle in a crate
• Increased confidence in mild distractions

This isn’t about perfection.
It’s about stability.
Owner Coaching
Because real change requires collaboration, your program includes:
• Owner transfer session (hands-on practice)
• Daily progress updates via Instagram stories
• 1 month post-program support
